Description
Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who specializes in mission critical turnkey solutions. Employing over 750 professionals and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centre’s, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently looking for Commissioning Managers to join them on a Data Centre Project in Germany.
You will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage the overall commissioning process for all critical systems, ensuring mechanical, electrical, BMS, and life safety systems are delivered, tested, and operational in line with project requirements.
- Develop the commissioning master plan, programme, and strategy in collaboration with the design, construction, and client teams, ensuring alignment with project milestones.
- Coordinate commissioning activities across all trades and stakeholders, including subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and client representatives, to ensure a seamless and integrated approach.
- Review and approve commissioning documentation, including method statements, test procedures, and progress reports, ensuring they meet contractual and technical requirements.
- Oversee all stages of commissioning from pre-functional testing to integrated systems testing (IST), ensuring performance and reliability standards are met for critical infrastructure.
- Manage and chair regular commissioning meetings, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and issues while driving resolution of defects and incomplete works.
- Ensure all commissioning activities are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations, site rules, and industry best practices.
- Support project handover by verifying all commissioning records, test results, and O&M documentation are complete, accurate, and handed over to the client in a structured format.
You will need:
- Relevant engineering degree.
- Experience on large scale industrial projects.
- Extensive MEP commissioning knowledge.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- An in-depth understanding of European building regulations.
