Our client is a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation contractor with projects across Ireland, UK, and Mainland Europe. Our client operates across multiple sectors including Data Centre’s, Pharmaceutical, Microelectronics, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Education, and Energy from Waste. The client is looking for an Electrical Commissioning Lead to join them on a project in London.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- The management of all Commissioning responsibilities on site including the setup, management of and closing out of the Commissioning plan for the project
- Management of the Commissioning Tagging process and procedures
- Reporting Progress on all Commissioning activities both internally and externally
- Chairing weekly commissioning meetings and directing weekly commissioning activities
- Developing the Project commissioning schedule in conjunction with the project planners
- The Compilation of all Testing and Commissioning Documentation including verifying and signing off on all results
- Ensuring that all testing and commissioning manpower is tracked on the site Labour allocation Tracker sheets and issued daily.
- The management of all day to day on site commissioning operations
- Management of all commissioning related snagging and ensuring that all snags are closed out in a timely manner
- Closing out of all project items, all with the support of the Electrical Package Manager
- Maintaining a weekly project photographic diary
You will need –
- A Degree in Engineering and at least 5 years’ experience in a commissioning manager role on large scale industrial projects
- Extensive Commissioning knowledge of the typical Electrical systems associated with Data Centres
- A thorough understanding of building regulation and European standards, codes and practices
