Description

Our Client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who employ over 2,000 professionals with an overall turnover of €1 billion in 2020 and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to be based on a project in Odense, Denmark.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for –

  • Supporting the engineering requirements through managing & liaising with Key Project Stakeholders
  • Information reporting to ensure activity targets / deadlines are met to support the project team
  • Overseeing the Co-ordination process to transform design information into full installation drawings by BIM personnel ensuring spec compliance and as per schedule priority
  • Assisting the Installation Package team to manage the quality needs for the project on site, providing guidance to ensure we are compliant to all relevant standards / codes and specifications associated
  • Assessing Sub-contract and Supplier Tender returns for Technical compliance with design intent specifications
  • Managing the technical submittal, approvals
  • Managing Sub-contractors and ensuring adequate information flow to ensure works progress in line with the Project Schedule and Weekly Meeting logged
  • Evaluating and promoting the use of new engineering practices and processes to enhance delivery time of the project
  • Preparing and agreeing project completion criteria and close out documents
  • Preparing Sub-contract and Supplier Tender Packages in conjunction with Project QS
  • Managing the Construction Work Packs process from development, implementation and handover
  • Responsible for supporting and coaching all junior engineers assigned to the project team their development is crucial to our organisation and industry

You will need –

  • At least 5-7 years’ experience working with a recognised Electrical contractor
  • Excellent organisational and project planning skills
  • Proficiency in software systems related to Engineering functions
  • Data Centre experience and knowledge of modularisation is highly desirable
  • To be an EU passport holder
