Description

Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who employ over 2,000 and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centres, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently looking for an OFCI Lead to join them on their Data Centre Projects in various European locations.

 

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and handling of owner-furnished equipment and materials to ensure timely availability for installation.
  • Develop and manage the installation schedule for OFCI items, aligning with the overall construction and commissioning program.
  • Liaise closely with the client, vendors, and internal teams to clarify OFCI scope, specifications, and delivery requirements.
  • Oversee the installation of owner-furnished equipment, ensuring compliance with manufacturer instructions, safety standards, and project quality requirements.
  • Manage subcontractors and installation crews assigned to OFCI works, ensuring efficient and safe execution on-site.
  • Track and report the status of OFCI items, including delivery progress, installation milestones, and any issues or delays.
  • Coordinate inspection, testing, and commissioning activities related to OFCI equipment in collaboration with commissioning teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all OFCI activities, supporting warranty, handover, and closeout processes.

 

You will need:

  • Degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience in technical project delivery.
  • 5+ years’ experience in construction coordination or procurement, with strong OFCI background on data centers or similar large-scale projects.
  • Proven ability to manage owner-supplied equipment from design, submittals, and factory testing to site delivery and installation.
  • Skilled in project tools such as MS Project, Bluebeam, Navisworks, and familiar with document control systems (e.g., Procore, Aconex).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills across vendors, trades, and client teams; strong attention to detail and delivery-focused mindset.
