Description
Our client is an international construction company operating in the Asian market, specializing in delivering high-profile infrastructure projects. They also conduct building projects which range from schools to large scale leisure complexes. They are currently looking for a Project Lead to join them on a project in Singapore.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of assigned project workstreams, ensuring activities are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring effective planning, communication, and execution of project activities.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain programme milestones and project objectives.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure technical requirements, project updates, and key deliverables are communicated effectively.
- Support project planning, procurement, and resource coordination to ensure labour, materials, and equipment are available in line with the construction programme.
- Assist with cost control, change management, and commercial reporting, working closely with the Project Manager and commercial team.
- Promote and enforce high standards of health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across all project activities.
- Support commissioning, handover, and project close-out activities, ensuring all documentation and client requirements are completed accurately and on time.
You Will Need:
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in a Project Lead, Project Engineer, or similar role within the construction or MEP industry.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning, and MEP systems, preferably within large-scale commercial or data centre projects.
- Good knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality management procedures, with a commitment to maintaining safe working practices.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working overseas, ideally in Singapore / Malaysia.
