Mechanical Project Manager

Our client is a leading multinational engineering services provider and general contractor who specializes in mission critical turnkey solutions. Employing over 750 professionals and deliver leading-edge construction solutions across a range of key sectors including Data Centre’s, Healthcare, Life Sciences and Technology, Fire protection, Building Services, and Technical Support Services. They are currently looking for a Mechanical Project Manager to join them on Data Centre projects in various locations across Europe.

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all mechanical works within the project scope, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Manage mechanical project teams, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, to ensure effective resource allocation and coordination.
• Develop and maintain detailed mechanical work schedules, monitoring progress and adjusting plans to mitigate delays or risks.
• Oversee procurement and supply chain activities for mechanical materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with design, construction, commissioning, and client teams to ensure smooth integration of mechanical systems and resolve technical or logistical issues.
• Ensure mechanical works comply with all relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Manage project budgets and cost controls related to mechanical scope, providing regular forecasts and financial reports.
• Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and project documentation to senior management and clients, ensuring transparency and accountability.

You Will Need:

• Professional qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction or engineering sector.

• Experience working on large-scale projects, ideally involving complex building services or industrial installations.

• Data centre project experience is advantageous but not essential.

• EU passport is desirable but not required for this position.
